Volunteers are the lifeblood of our FCA activities! Without our valued volunteers, we would not be able to host our many events and positively impact our community. We hope you will be interested in volunteering with the FCA by joining one of our committees listed below.

Grounds Committee

Assist the FCA in maintaining the park grounds.


Decorate the Gazebo
Seasonally help decorate the gazebo (plant flowers in Spring, place pumpkins in fall, light the gazebo for the holidays)


Events Committee

Assist our events committee in putting on our wonderful FCA events


Day-of Event Help
Help us set up, break down, and/or run a station at one of our summer events

Event Planning
Assist in ideating, planning, and producing FCA events

Membership Committee

Help the FCA facilitate membership within the community


FCA Membership Table at FCA Events
Help us out at the FCA table at one of our upcoming FCA events! Talk with attendees about the FCA and help them become members.


Marketing / Communications Committee

Help our Marketing/Communications Committee get the word out about the FCA! 


Graphic Design
Help create flyers that can be utilized online and in print


Social Media
Manage the FCA Instagram and Facebook Accounts


Media Outreach
Contact local media outlets (newspapers, radio/TV, etc) to get the word out about the FCA


Newsletter Management
Assist in creating and laying out the Villager newsletter

Labor Day Round Up Committee

The Labor Day Round Up takes a village and we are looking for your help! All opportunities can use multiple volunteers and MANY volunteer opportunities are great for kids of all ages. Please sign up below if you're interested in helping out and we will reach out to you directly with more info.


School Communications
Help get the word out to our local schools by encouraging student and parent volunteers for the Round Up, parade participation, and general awareness and attendance of the event

Vendor Management
Manage contact and set up of one or more of our wonderful event vendors (i.e. food, bounce house, pony rides, roasted corn and nuts, cotton candy, ice cream, face painters)


Silent Auction / Raffle Chair
Grab a neighbor or two and run our Silent Auction or set up a Raffle! This is a great driver of donations to the FCA and a wonderful way to be in touch with local businesses


Games Tent Chair
Run the Round Up games tent by ensuring games are set up and run properly by volunteers at the event


Clean Up Chair
Manage the general clean up activities of the Labor Day Round up
