Labor Day Round Up, Parade and Art Fair
on Monday, September 1st, 2025
Round Up: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Parade: Noon
Art Fair: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Art in the Village: 44th Year
10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Located on the Village Green, in front of the Franklin Church
Free admission
Art in the Village features fine art from over 50 artists in mediums such as jewelry, glass, painting, photography, wood, sculpture, and more —
plus live musical performances throughout the day.
The LABOR DAY PARADE
Starts at 12:00 pm, noon
Parade begins 12:00 pm and travels down Franklin Road from Evelyn Ct to Carol St.
Announcer stage is across from the post office, but people set up/watch along the entire route.
Franklin Road will be closed down from 14 Mile to Carol at 11:15 am - 1:00 pm
So, we encourage you to come early to park, find a spot to sit, and enjoy the parade.

All tickets are $2 each - pricing varies for activities, vendors, and food.
On Labor Day, tickets can be purchased at Ticket Tents, by cash, check or Venmo.
But .... FCA Members can PRE-PAY and SKIP the line,
receive $10 off any ticket purchase of $40 or more,
AND get a free FCA tote bag - compliments of Novak Realtors.
* Pre-purchases can only be done once per FCA member family *
*** Proceeds go to the FCA, allowing us to run more fun activities for the community
and enhance our FCA Park

BAKE SALE
Do you enjoy baking and want to let others enjoy your creations?
Continue our community tradition.
Bring baked goods (ie. cookies, cupcakes, breads, muffins, cakes, pies)
on Monday morning - as early as 8am

PARKING
Parking is available along side streets and on two baseball fields
(entry points are off Wellington at Carol and at the Church)
Handicapped parking available in the Church parking lot.
FREE PARKING - donations greatly appreciated.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are greatly needed to make our Round Up a success.
NHS STUDENTS, and other groups, can receive Volunteer Community Service Credit Hours.

VOLUNTEER Opportunities Include:
WEEK BEFORE Round Up
We need volunteers to help line two baseball fields to create parking.
This includes hammering in wooden stakes, attaching pennant flags, & putting out signage.
Grab a friend or two or more, and let us know you that can help provide this service.
Saturday before Round Up SET UP - Aug 30th - 9:00am - 2:00pm
Driving GOLF CARTS is one of the fun perks of the job!
Help move things out of the barn, set up tables, chairs, garbage boxes,
put flags and signs on tents, help with the games tent, decorate the gazebo, etc...
Bagels, coffee and juice provided.
Community Service Credits: sign in/out will be available.
On Labor Day Monday, Sept 1st - 8:00am - 3:00pm
We need volunteers to finish Setting up, Run midway games and Give out prizes,
Help with pony rides, petting farms, and inflatables,
Sell tickets, Help with parking, Pass out water, etc...
Community Service credits: Sign in/out will be available at Ticket Tent #1.
CLEAN UP on Labor Day from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
We greatly appreciate help with cleaning up.
Please come with friends and give any amount of time you can.
Many hands make light work.
Community Service credits: DOUBLE HOURS will be given for clean up!
